BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – As much as 138 academic staffs of Universitas Pasundan have completed pre-service program held by Higher Education Foundation (Yayasan Pendidikan Tinggi, YPT) of Pasundan on Saturday-Sunday, 22-23 October 2022.
The pre-service program held in Paguyuban Pasundan was also attended by 7 academic staffs of STKIP Pasundan Cimahi, 2 staffs of STIE Pasundan Bandung and 7 staffs of STH Pasundan Sukabumi.
General Chairman of PB Paguyuban Pasundan Prof. Dr. H. M. Didi Turmudzi, M.Si said that the pre-service program is one of the attempts to improve the quality of academic staffs in universities under the auspice of YPT Pasundan.
“YPT Pasundan attempts to establish/build Pasundan through its academic staffs to be more advanced,” he said.
Prof. Didi also urged each leader of universities to embrace their staffs by growing their self-confidence.
“Working within Pasundan is an honour, reward and part of our worship to Allah SWT,” he continued.
The result of this program is expected to be able to develop the performance of each academic staff and become motivation to put our good intention forward.
“If our intention is sincere, anything can be achieved. The results of this pre-service program will be a preparation, so that a common perception would be built to jointly raise Paguyuban Pasundan,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of YPT Pasundan, Dr. Makbul Mansyur, M.Si. conveyed that pre-service program provides a dimension of strength to equalize the thoughts of all YPT Pasundan staff.
Pre-service participants were given material from LLDIKTI, foundations, Paguyuban Pasundan, strengthening motivation, outbound activities, and others.
“Essentially, pre-service participants get deepening and training to improve competence and services, both administrative, academic, and student services,” he explained.
He considered that the pre-service position made YPT Pasundan staff more competent, insightful, skilled, and able to have a positive attitude. (Reta)**
