BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Coinciding with the 61st Anniversary, Universitas Pasundan gave Patra Kerta Kirtya Award for teachers and education staffs who have already served for 20 to 30 years in Unpas.
The awards were symbolically given at Rector’s Meeting Room, Building C, Unpas Campus IV, on Friday, 3 December 2021. It was also attended by Vice Rectors, Deans, as well as teachers and education staff representatives who are going to achieve the award. Meanwhile, rest of them attended the even through Zoom tele-conference meeting.
Rector of Unpas, Prof. Dr. If. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU represented by Vice Rector II Dr. Ir. Yudi Garnida, MP read out the Decree of Award’s Recipients for 43 people, consisting of teachers and staffs at the Head Office, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Faculty of Economics and Business and Faculty of Teaching and Education.
“By this, Rector of Unpas gives his appreciation and sends his gratitude to teachers and staffs for their service, as well as sincere dedication for 20 – 30 years,” he explained.
The award was given symbolically to four recipient representatives, namely Dr. Ir. Hj. Tjutju Tarliah Dimyati, MSIE (Industrial Engineering Lecturer/30 years), Melani, S.H., M.H. (Lecturer of Law Studies/20 years), M. Solihin (Tendik/30 years), and Asep Yayan (Tendik/20 years).
In his speech, Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. H. Jaja Suteja, SE., M.Si sent his gratitude to all recipients for their hard-work and contribution for Unpas’ development
“Unpas would have not withstanding today if it is without your dedication, hard work and loyalty. Hopefully, all of us will always be given health to bring Unpas be respected and trusted by the public,” he said.
During pandemic, Unpas has been facing many challengers and difficulties, but thanks to the role and involvement of all elements in it, Unpas was able to survive when many other universities collapsed.
“Make this achievement to be one of external motivations, as we believed that every single achievement came first from the heart/ goodwill. I am sure, the goodwill will make Unpas and ourselves better,” he continued.
By building the synergy between all academic civitas, Unpas is expected to be able to keep implementing its role and dedication in the midst of Indonesian civilization.
Recipient representatives, Dr. Ir. Hj, Tjutju Tarliah Dimyati, MSIE sent her gratitude for the appreciation Unpas gave her. For her, Unpas has made her identity, as teacher, more professional.
“Alhamdulillah, I can oversee Unpas and complete the duties before retiring in May 2021. Hopefully, Unpas would be better, advanced, and loved by the community, not only in Indonesia, but also internationally,” she concluded. (Reta)*
