BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Participants’ enthusiasm of Covid-19 Vaccination program initiated by BEM, LKM and UKM of Universitas Pasundan along with full support of Kodam III Siliwangi and BNPB increased highly in its second day of the program. The number of participants were recorded more than 1000 participants from students, college students and general public.
Not only being attended by the participants who have previously registered online and been scheduled to get the vaccines on Saturday, 30 October 2021, the local citizens also visited in turn to the place where the program was held and registered themselves on site.
Unpas BEM representative, Ujang Amruallah said that there was interesting thing during the event. Although the program was targeted for the first-dose vaccine recipients only, there are few participants registering for the second-dose.
“There are [few] people registering for the second-dose, but not many; since we have informed the program through face-to-face and social media only for the first-dose,” he said.
However, the vaccines are still given based on the screening result, since it needs to take a look on the interval between the first-dose and second-dose. In addition, this type of vaccines given also must be the same.
“According to the information from Kodam III Siliwangi, as the vaccines supplier, the type of vaccines given is Sinovac, since we considered about its efficacy level,” he continued.
From observation on the location, both on the first and second day, participants were quite conducive and willing to comply with the committee’s directions to maintain health protocols. Participants are also asked to follow and pay close attention to the steps; filling the registration and screening forms, getting vaccines, as well as receiving a Covid-19 vaccination card.
“This is important since the participants’ data will be listed into Peduli Lindungi application, therefore they are required to follow the steps carefully in order to receive the updated Covid-19 vaccination certificated,” he continued.
