BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Student Team of Pancasila and Civics Education (Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan, PPKn) Department, Faculty of Teaching and Education, Universitas Pasundan won the 4th position in Civics Project at the event of National 4th Triathlon.
The triathlon was held by Unversitas Negeri Malan in order to commemorate National Hero Day (Hari Pahlawan Nasional) and 67th anniversary. Other than civics project competition, the event also consists of interactive dialogue and local culture art competition.
Student team of PPKn FKIP Unpas, consisting of Zulfa Aida Khoiriya, Angestiya Pinakesti and Mirazein Gautami successfully went to the final round on 3 November 2021 after passing preliminary round attended by 80 universities.
Supervisory teacher of the project, Deni Zein Tarsidi, S.Pd., M.Pd said that the acquisition is not separated from the habit of writing scientific papers since they were students.
“These teachers committed to provide support and keep supervising their students. If there is scientific writing competition, the supervision will be done more intensely. I always ask the students to present their scientific writing to be provided by suggestion,” he said.
Other than field of reasoning, arts and sports are also trained; they even have regular schedule to practice. The teachers thought that students’ achievement can be improved from various aspects, not only from field of reasoning, but also arts and sports.
“By this achievement, I hope students could understand more about their interest and talent in order to keep reaching achievement in their own fields,” he hoped.
One of the student team’s members, Zulfa Aida Khoiriya admitted that she was so proud and grateful of what they have achieved, although they have not yet gained their best result. Even more, this was the first time she attended the national competition.
“For me and other members who still lack of experiences, this became our valuable experience and moment, as well as stepping point to keep getting more experience in the future,” she said.
In that event, Zulfa get her material prepared and her mental as good as possible. She also makes this achievement as challenge and tries to experience something new.
Similar to Zulfa, Angestiya and Mirazein are also motivated to achieve more and proceed in the future. They believe they could improve and get rid of fear, insecurity, or nervou
