BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Rector’s Team regained their victory in shooting competition Rector Unpas Cup VII which is part of the 61st Anniversary of Universitas Pasundan. Rektor Unpas Cup VII was held in Lapang Tembak R. Dedi Muhadin, Mako Brimob Yon Cikole, West Bandung District, in 20 November 2021.
Rektor Unpas Cup VII was attended by 20 category groups of long-gun and 51 single participants of pistol consisted of internal staff in each faculty, Rector and Korps Menwa Mahawarman Unpas; while from the external staffs and institutions, there are also YPDM Pasundan, Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani, and Bandung General Attorney.
The distribution of medals, certificates and trophies of Unpas Rector Cup VII was held in the Rector’s Meeting Room, Campus IV, Jalan Dr. Setiabudhi No. 193, Bandung. This activity was attended by Rector of Unpas Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Sc., M.Kom., IPU., Vice Rector III Dr. H. Deden Ramdan, M.Sc., management of the Pasundan Shooting Club (PSC), and representatives of the winners.
The Rector sent his gratitude to all shooting athletes and participants who had participated in enlivening the Unpas Cup VII Chancellor. In the future, Rektor Unpas Cup is expected to be an event to prepare the beginning of qualified athletes.
“The next Rektor Unpas Cup should certainly be prepared as optimal as possible in order to regenerate new athletes for shooting sport. We hope it would involve more participants from external parties,” he said.
Considering the fact that during the pandemic, the training at PSC headquarters was postponed, Rector targeted that in 2022, physical activities in the field could be resumed, with a record that the number of Covid-19 cases had declined and the Bandung City area had entered level 1.
“While looking at the development of the pandemic in Bandung, we are targeting regular training so that the continuity of achievements is maintained. Keep in mind, in addition to physical exercise, cognitive exercise must also be improved,” he continued.
