BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Universitas Pasundan takes collaboration with Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Language (KazUIRWL) Kazakhstan.
This is one of the attempts to optimize international collaboration, as well as strengthen both academic civitas and education.
MoU was directly signed by Rector of Unpas Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU. and Vice Rector for Youth Policy Kazakh Ablai Khan University Tatiana Seryozhkina at the Hall of Mandala Saba Ir. H. Djuanda, Unpas Campus II, Jalan Tamansari, on Wednesday, 28 September 2022.
Unpas and Kazakh Ablai Khan University agreed to improve academic quality in various forms of activities.
The collaboration will be carried out through academic visit, joint research, student exchange, exchange for faculty, research, research and administration staffs, exchange for academic information and materials, lectures and symposium, and other collaboration.
According to the Rector, the internationalization process of University Tri Dharma and implementation of MBKM program can be done through multitrack corporation. Apart from strengthening the network, multitrack cooperation can reach for wider opportunity of collaboration.
In additional, the program also supports the implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program initiated by Kemendikbudristek.
“We hope this collaboration could provide us positive contribution in improving quality of human resource and strengthen the relationship of both parties,” said the Rector.
Vice Rector for Youth Policy Kazakh Ablai Khan University Tatiana Seryozhkina said that she herself were impressed by Unpas’ warm welcome and hospitality. She hoped the collaboration taken could become the first step to build the nation, especially in the field of culture and education.
“Through collaboration, we can do various small steps to make our education system better,” she said.
Tatiana also added that taking collaboration can change the future and culture understanding. “We believe that the MoU we delegated could become the first significant collaboration steps for both Unpas and Kazakh Ablai Khan University,” she added.
On the same occasion, Unpas also signed the MoU with Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ), as well as MoA between Office for International Affairs (Kantor Urusan Internasional, KUI) UPNVJ with Office of Foreign Affairs (Kantor Kerja Sama Luar Negeri) Unpas.
At the end of the event, Unpas introduces West Java traditional music through the performance of Saung Angklung Udjo, The invitees also had opportunity to play the angklung. (Reta)**
