BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Last Saturday, 13 November 2021, Indonesian System of Learning Process (Sistem Pembelajaran Daring, SPADA) by Kemendikbudristek released the result of activity for Learning Management System (LMS) for Private Universities in the Region IV LLDIKTI.
Universitas Pasundan ranks 2nd with as much as 126.607 learning activities while in the national level, Unpas ranks 8th of both state and private universities in Indonesia.
The result showed that the online learning activities in Unpas has increased. Its usage is also getting more optimal and able to provide better quality of online learning.
Vice Rector I Prof. Dr. H. Jaja Suteja, SE., M.Si stated that SPADA Indonesia is a program initiated by Ditjen Belmawa Kemenristekdikti to increase equitable access for qualified online learning in universities.
“SPADA Indonesia was established and developed to respond to the challenge of higher education. It includes of limited capacity of private university, low scope of university because it lacks of coverage and many private universities which have not had qualified sources of education,” he explained on Tuesday, 13 November 2021.
Today, Unpas is currently developing Edu Campus Learning (ECL) which is going to be used for official LMS in all faculties to support online learning
“Developing the ECL is part of preparation for Unpas pure Distant-Learning (Pendidikan Jarak Jauh, PJJ),” he continued.
PJJ is also known as institution-based formal education, in which the students and instructor are on different location, so that they need interactive telecommunication system to connect both of them and other sources needed.
Regarding the rank of Unpas LMS released by SPADA, Prof. Jaja is optimistic that in few years, the activity of learning course would be increasing continuously.
“Insya Allah in the future, activities in Unpas LMS would be continuously increasing,” he concluded. (Reta)*
