BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – After having the series of online field assessment in 16-17 June 2022, Magister of Communication Studies (Magister Ilmu Komunikasi, MIK) Universitas Pasundan successfully obtained its accreditation with the rating of ‘Excellent’ from National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi).
Based on BAN-PT Decree No. 3986/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/VI/2022, Unpas MIK accreditation rating is valid from 28 June 2022 to 28 June 2027. The department obtained a total of 351 points from the results of the instrument assessment.
As previously reported, the assessor in charge of Unpas MIK field assessment provided positive recommendations and feedback.
In the field assessment, BAN-PT assigned two assessors from different institutions, namely Dr. Muhammad Sulhan, S.IP., M.Si. (Universitas Gadjah Mada) and Dr. Mite Setiansah, S.IP., M.Si. (Universitas Jenderal Sudirman).
The assessors thought that some instruments such as vision and mission, governance, collaboration, curriculum, quality assurance, students, University Tri Dharma and the outcomes of study success in Unpas MID have already been well organized.
By this achievement of ‘Excellent’ accreditation, Unpas MIK committed to improve things which need to be optimized, especially in updating curriculum, implementing vision and mission and being consistent in carrying out quality assurance.
This achievement of Unpas MIK also become the trigger for academic civitas in Unpas MIK to keep improving the quality and produce graduates who are able to compete and be active within society. (Reta)*
