BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Last mid-August 2022, Ministry of BUMN, represented by Forum Capital Indonesia (FHCI), opened opportunities for both private and state universities to take participation in the 2022 Batch II Certified Student’s Internship Program (Program Magang Mahasiswa Bersertifikat, PMMB).
Program involving 146 State-owned Enterprises is intended to enrich insight and improve student’s skill to prepare and create excellent human resource, especially in facing global competition.
Based on FHCI’s announcement, eight students of Universitas Pasundan were confirmed to have passed the selection of the 2022 Batch II PMMB BUMN Match Up program at different work units. The students are:
- Martogi Panjaitan (Law Studies) – Perum Perhutani (Division Secretary)
- Luh Natasya Devi Arsana (International Relationship) – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Manufacturing and Property Division)
- Yudhi Rosyadi (Communication Studies) – PT Biofarma (Company Secretary)
- Viona Febriani (Visual Communication Design) – PT Biofarma (Company Secretary)
- Azzahra Ellba Ghasyani Putri (Accounting) – PT Kereta Api indonesia (Daop 2 Bandung)
- Sami Adro Ula (Communication Studies) – PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII (Agro-culture)
- Syshiva Aprilla Pucy (Communication Studies) – PT Pupuk Indonesia (Organization and Management of Talent)
- Lena Yuliana (Visual Communication Design) – PT Pupuk Indonesia (Company Communication)
Participants who pass will carry out an internship program for 6 months in the related company. Later, internship activities will be converted to courses, a maximum of 20 credits.
In addition to gaining work experience, participants will also learn new things, increase knowledge, and develop capacity through cultural experience in the State-owned Enterprise.
“Congratulations to the students who passed the PMMB FHCI Batch II 2022 match up program. Make the internship experience at the companies a provision to face the real industrial world,” said Unpas Vice Rector III, Dr. H. Deden Ramdan, M.Si., on Thursday, 1 September 2022.
Through PMMB, it is hoped that there will be a link and match curriculum between universities and the industrial sector. Universities always follow the needs of the industry, on the other hand, lecture materials can also be updated in line with developments in the industry.
PMMB is divided into two types of programs, namely Industrial Certified Internship according to the project given by the industry and Competency Certified Internship according to the field competition that is a requirement to occupy the position. (Reta)**
