BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Universitas Pasundan, through Team of Publication and Branding on Social Media collaborates with student influencers to help promote Unpas New Student Admission (Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru, PMB) and carry out education program on university.
Influencers who are invited to collaborate are students, alumni, and Unpas teachers who have followers above 7000 and is active creating/posting their contents in social media, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms/channels.
A TikTok creator with the amount of 1,1 million of followers who was also alumni of Faculty of Law, Ricko Putra Ramli was also invited on this premiere event of Influencer Gathering initiated by Unpas.
Unpas Vice Rector III Dr. H. Deden Ramdan, M.Si. said that the role of internal influencers is very necessary in the era of increasingly rapid use of social media.
“Influencers are trend-setters for their followers, now many brands are collaborating with influencers to promote the products and services offered because their influence is extraordinary,” he explained.
He said that Generation Z was able to master social media with creativity, so that personal branding and content production activities could be carried out in one hand.
“Influencers should also be gatekeepers in providing information to the public. I’m sure that you [influencers] can create quality and educative content,” he said.
As a reference for influencers, Vice Rector III explained the results of the Unpas PMB survey for the 2021/2022 academic year, starting from the influence of content on social media, the interests of prospective students, to the distribution of registrant areas.
Coordinator of Team of Publication and Branding on Social Media, Eli Siti Wasliah, S.Sos., M.I.Kom., said that this event become the first step to improve our promotion for Unpas PMB.
“Social media has important role; one of which is to persuade the options of prospective student to get into the university. We hope this collaboration could last long, on behalf of Unpas’ huge and great name/title,” he concluded. (Reta)**
