BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Development of creative economy in Indonesia cannot be separated from the role of young generation as the main source of creativity. Through entrepreneurship, young generation is expected to become a productive resource which is able to support the pace of the economy.
Young generation who attaches an entrepreneurial mindset tend to be more independent, innovative, creative and have a leadership spirit.
In line with this urgency, Student Community of Civics and Law Education (Himpunan Mahasiswa Pendidikan dan Hukum, Hima PKnH) Universitas Pasundan held a webinar entitled “Become a Young Entrepreneur and Creative in the New Normal Era,” on Wednesday, 2 February 2022.
According to the theme, this webinar is supposed to encourage the spirit of businessmen who were affected by the pandemic and welcome the new normal era. The downturn happened during the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic forced them to adapt immediately in order not to make them fall into the economic crisis.
To respond to this concern, Hima PKnH presented speakers who are qualified in their fields, namely Asep Taryana Sujana (National MSMEs Assistant, Accelerator of Entrepreneurial Eco-system, Teacher in IPB Business School), Agung Pratomo (CEO of PT Toko Karya Digital) and Ferry Ardiansyah (Head of DPP Gerkrafs, Founder of DUMECA Group).
Head of Hima PKnH for 2021/2022 Amanda Navira stated that getting into the new normal era, there needs to be efforts to re-build the spirit and motivation of young entrepreneurs.
“We hope this program could support the development of creative economy in order to actualize common wealth. Especially, in digital transformation era, people are forced to be able to work together with technology,” he said.
She thought that young generations are the frontliners in improving the quality of human resources and fulfil the national development indicator through creative economy.
“It is important for young generation to start the business in the middle of competitive working field. Each speaker conveyed matters which can certainly be the provision to create innovation to order to face challenge in the era of brightest Indonesia,” he concluded. (Reta)*
