BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – On Thursday, 21 October 2021, Directorate of Human Resoucre Ditjen Dikti announced the administrative selection result of the 2021 Indonesian Program of Talenta Inovasi. Talenta Inovasi Indonesia is a fund-assisted program in the form of incentives fund given to students of both Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Program.
The program which was previously maintained by Kemenristek/BRIN aimed to actualize the innovation and independent creativity which support the development of Knowledge, Technology, and Science (IPTEKS) and useful for the society.
Of 4.116 registrants, there were only 2.942 of them who have already finalized the registration form. As many as 1.628 registrants are confirmed to passing the administration selection, including 11 students of Universitas Pasundan.
Unpas Teacher of Mechanical Engineering Department, Ir. Gatot Santoso, MT stated that students who passed the administrative selection include six students from Bachelor Degree program and five students from Master Degree program.
“Five students from Mechanical Engineering and one student from Food Technology department, while the rest are from Master of Mechanical Engineering. These 11 students passed the selection on different schemes,” he explained, on Monday, 25 October 2021.
Furthermore, students will join the proposal selection by the Reviewer Team of Talenta Inovasi Indonesia. Those who do not pass the administrative selection is still given chance to correct and re-upload the document required until 31 October 2021 at 23.59 WIB.
“Total of Unpas students registering for the program are actually 23 students; 12 of them did not pass the administrative selection. Four of them are from Urban Planning Department and eight from Mechanical Engineering Department,” he continued.
He said that he would evaluate and direct the students who did not pass the administrative selection in order to fill the lack of documents during registration finalization period.
“Students who are interested in joining the program are allowed to register, since Ditjen Dikti has opened the Phase 2 Registration until the deadline of administrative document correctness period,” he explained.
He keeps encouraging and willing to guide the students to arrange the requirement, how to register, as well as direct/ lead the outcome that can be proposed. Students can register for it online on the website http://beasiswadosen.kemdikbud.go.id/talenta-inovasi.
“For Bachelor program, there are 10 schemes with different amount of fund assistance. For example, the A scheme is for research; including final assignment/thesis to be examined. Its outcomes are minutes of final assignment/thesis examination, while its fund assistance is 5 million rupiahs at maximum. The B, C, D, etc can be seen in the guidelines provided by Ditjen Dikti, as well as the schemes for Master and Doctoral program,” he continued.
While helping to complete administrative documents, he admitted that it was quite difficult because there were some students who did not have a Student Identity Card (Kartu Tanda Mahasiswa, KTM), even though they are students of previous class years.
Other than KTM, registrants are also required to attach their Personal Identity Card (Kartu Tanda Penduduk, KTP), transcripts, a being-active student Statement Letter and are not currently having scholarship, supervisor’s recommendation letter, final assignment/thesis/dissertation proposal (for those who are currently working on their final assignment), program proposal, program statement letter and commitment letter.
“If one of them are not complete, it is less possible to pass the administrative selection. We are going to guide how to write the proposal, because it needs to be adjusted to available format. By passing the first selection, at least there is one ticket to continue to the next level,” he said.
While for the rest, he hoped that more students of Unpas would take advantage of the opportunity and register for the program. He thought that Unpas students have a lot of intellectual potential that can developed a way better.
“This opportunity is not only for students of Faculty of Engineering or other certain departments. All of them have the same opportunity, so let us together compete and improve each other’s skills,” he concluded. (Reta)*
