BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – About 30 finalist of Batch IV Unpas Campus Ambassadors were officially inaugurated by Unpas Vice Rector III Dr. H. Deden Ramdah, M.Si on Friday, 26 August 2022 at the Hall of Mandala Saba Ir. H. Djuanda, Campus II Tamansari.
All finalists also got the briefing about branding, promotion and protocol responsibility, as well as the embedding of a sash as a sign of confirmation.
The Campus Ambassadors will start carrying out their task next week on the agenda of the visit of the Army Chief of Staff General Dudung Abdurachman to Universitas Pasundan.
Vice Rector III Dr. H. Deden Ramdan, M.Si also emphasized that as the selected students, campus Ambassadors must be able to represent the campus and be a catalyst/connector between institutions by going to person and going to public.
“Indirectly, you [the ambassadors] have already committed and attached yourself to the campus. We should be united and build chemistry to create something meaningful,” he confirmed.
A campus ambassador, he said, should be able to represent Unpas comprehensively, supported by personal literacy, internal skill and physical condition as the united part attached to their inside identity.
“I wish, these ambassadors could create Unpas as the best and greatest campus, as well as build it as the most comfortable place for carrying out tholabul ilmi for everyone. There are also University Tri Dharma and MBKM program which should be understood,” he added.
He suggested that later, Campus Ambassador could carry out duties properly and introduce Unpas to the wider society as well.
“I hope Campus Ambassador would be stronger in every situation. Please join other associations or organizations to hone soft skills, speaking skills, diplomacy, persuasion, and even resolve conflicts. Make it a place to forge ourselves,” he explained.
Considering that the Campus Ambassadors will help with protocol activities and campus promotions, the finalists attended a briefing on protocol, both requirements, types, roles, functions, and protocol activities from Unpas teacher of Department of Communication Studies, Rini Anisyahrini, S.Sos., M.I.Kom.
