BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Two months after being officially inaugurated, Unpas entrepreneurship-based organization, Indonesian Association for Young Enterpreneur of Higher Education (Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia Perguruan Tinggi, HIPMI-PT) is currently arranging on their work programs.
Based on the enthusiasm to grow and foster the entrepreneurial climate among students, HIPMI PT Unpas initiated interesting programs that may have never been worked on by other HIPMI PT.
In determining the work program, HIPMI PT Unpas utilizes a network of alumni and relationships that already have a promising track record in the business world.
Head of HIPMI PT Unpas, Irpan Muchamad Ghani said that apart from maintaining the business, Unpas HIPMI PT currently has three main programs, namely School of CEO, Pasundanpreneur and Ngobrol Bareng Dirut.
School of CEO is a program to improve the capacity of student entrepreneur through the management support and leadership train, business’ plan and analysis, method of maintaining the business, digital marketing, social mapping, as well as effective communication.
“School of CEO or school in which we can learn to be a CEO is rare to be found, even it is hard to find in other university’s HIPMI PT. We have already had the curriculum, it might probably take 3-4 days to implement and will be presented by a top company CEO partnering to Unpas HIPMI PT,” he explained.
Pasundanpreneur is another step to connect the business and its plan in any kind of sectors to the current existing business run by either seniors or Unpas alumni.
“We have collected alumni’s database as well as their business coordinator to be synchronized to the business currently owned by Unpas HIPMI member. Later, the synchronization will be adjusted to the classification or classes in HIPMI PT Unpas,” he said.
Irpan also mentioned that member classification in HIPMI PT Unpas is divided into four. The first class (A) is for members who already own a business and stable turnover. Second class (B) is for members who own a business and unstable turnover. Third class (C) is for members who have just made a business plan. Last, fourth class (D) is for members who have owned neither a business nor business plan.
“It is the third (C) and fourth (D) class that will be synergized with Unpas alumni database. After we observed, it turns out that many Unpas alumni have become entrepreneurs in Bandung. We will group them according to their business fields, then incubate in the form of mentoring by alumni to the opportunity to gain access to capital,” he continued.
Other than School of CEO and Pasundanpreneur, HIPMI PT Unpas also has Ngobrol Bareng Dirut program which is set in the form of talk-show with the president director in a well-known big company, especially in Bandung.
“These programs will be our long-term effort we dedicate for HIPMI PT Unpas. Even more, we are still in first-year, therefore we need to carry out internal consolidation and expand our relation, to make it run smoother later. Let us, the pioneers, handle this and put so much efforts to this,” he concluded. (Reta)*
