BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Pasundan Volleyball Team got perfect results after overthrowing BIN Samator Surabaya in the final of pool B, in the first round of the 2022 Livoli Main Division.
In the match which took place at Tawangalun GOR, Banyuwangi, East Java, on Sunday 16 October 2022, Pasundan won 3-1 (22-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-19).
This victory also made Pasundan listed as an undefeated team from four matches that were rolling.
These results cannot be separated from the slick games of Universitas Pasundan students who participated in strengthening the Pasundan team.
Five Pasundan athletes, including its captain, Farhan Halim was recorded as students of Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) Unpas.
Other than Farhan, other Unpas students performing in the match included Cep Indra Agustin (Middle Blocker), M. Fikri Mustopa Kamal (Opposite), Ujang Nandar (Middle Blocker), and Rizal Ramadhan (Libero).
Golden Ticket to the Final Round of 2022 Livoli Premier Division
Coach of Pasundan team, Anwar Sadat, confirmed that he was satisfied by his team’s performance when fighting against Samator in the Final Round.
“I am satisfied and proud by their performance in the Final round. They showed us the best, as what they have done during practive,” said Sadat in written form.
In the opening set, the team was left behind. According to Anwar, this was because Farhan and his friends were under pressure first.
“Luckily in the second set and so on, the boys were able to push back,” he added.
With these results, Pasundan is entitled to a trophy and coaching money of 20 million.
This proud achievement automatically brings Pasundan team to the final four of Livoli Premier Division 2022 which will be held at GOR Ki Mageti, Magetan, starting November 4. (Reta)**
