BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Rector of Universitas Pasundan who is as well Commander of Student’s Regiment (Komandan Resimen Mahasiswa, Danmenwa) of Mahawarman for West Java, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU leads the coordination meeting of West Java Menwa Mahawarman, on Wednesday, 20 July 2022.
The meeting was held at the Hall of Mandala Saba Ir. H. Juanda, Unpas Campus II, Jalan Tamansari No. 6-8, Bandung. It was attended by Deputy Commander of Menwa Mahawarman, Expert Staffs, Staff Head of the Regiment (Kepala Staf Resimen, Kasmen) along with his stafss, Kapuspen and the entire Commander of Battalion from various universities in West Java.
The Rector stated that the meeting aimed to discuss the work plan of Menwa Mahawarman for West Java in the future, do the acceleration program, set the structure chart of the Commandwer of West Java Menwa Mahawarman and collect members’ aspiration as well.
“The structure will be divided into three main parts, including regiment structure, battalion structure and kompi structure,” he explained.
Through this meeting, West Java Menwa Mahawarman tries to tighten consolidation and take coordination between Menwa in order to be able to improve their roles, as well as confirm their function as connector parties.
“The vision of West Java Menwa Mahawarman needs to be strengthened to integrate the program and re-establish cadre system,” he added.
The settlement of structural chart for West Java Mahawarman Command refers to the settlement of Decree of Nomor Buku Pokok (NBP) for members of West Java Menwa Mahawarman. NBP is needed to establish organizational order and smoothness.
“NBP is a self-identity, members’ status completeness and validity as a member of West Java Menwa Mahawarman. There are 658 members from various battalions who were appointed and given NBP,” he concluded. (Reta)**
