BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – As a form of sustainable evaluation to ensure the commitment of management staffs in implementing quality management system, Universitas Pasundan will hold an ISO 9001:2015 audit for three days, Tuesday-Thursay, 23-25 August 2022.
The audit was held online by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LQRA) Indonesia. The team in task are Edy J. Suryawirawan and Mochamad Iqbal.
On this time’s focus visit, work units being audited are Department of Biology Education (FKIP), Department of Legal/Law Studies (FH), Department of Food Engineering (FT), Department of Public Administration (FT), Department of Management (FEB), Community Service Institution (Lembaga Pengabdian Masyarakat, LPM), Research Institution (Lembaga Penelitian, Lemlit) and Development System of Technology, Information and Communication (Sistem Pengembangan Teknologi, Informasi dan Komunikasi, SPTIK).
The event started with an opening meeting by Rector of Unpas Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Sc., M.Kom., IPU., attended by the Vice Chancellors, Deans of related departments, Head of Lemlit, Head of LPM, Head of SPM, Head of SPTIK, and the ISO Team.
Surveillance audit is a monitoring that must be carried out by an independent certification body to an ISO certified agency.
The audit aims to determine whether the department-in-question is still entitled to an ISO certificate or not.
Aspects that are the focus of the audit include compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard and its requirements, a risk-based assessment approach, and identification of problems or findings that need to be improved.
Audits in each department cover management and teaching and learning processes, laboratories and libraries, and faculty administration (academic administration, student and alumni administration, as well as finance and household/infrastructure).
At the opening meeting, the Rector presented a brief institutional performance report, starting from the implementation of the MBKM program, research performance, institutional development plans, to curriculum relaxation.
“There are MBKM programs/activities currently running at Unpas with the fund-supported by Kemendikburistek, such as PKKM, Kampus Mengajar, Student Exchange (Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka, PMM), Modul Nusantara, and many more,” he said.
Based on previous audit results held at the end of February 2022, there were no findings, both minor and major. Unpas is still entrusted to hold ISO 2009:2015 certificate for five departments. This time’s audit is also expected to provide similar findings/result. (Reta)**
