
BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Universitas Pasundan signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Collaboration Agreement (Perjanjian Kerja Sama, PKS) with Institut Seni Budaya Indonesia (ISBI) dan Universitas Langlangbuana (Unla) on Friday, 2 September 2022
The MoU was signed by Rector of Unpas, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU. and Rector of ISBI Prof. Dr. Hj. Een Herdiani, S.Sen., M.Hum, as well as Rector of Unla Dr. H. R. AR. Harry Anwar, S.H., M.H.
Apart from having collaboration between institution, Faculty of Culture and Media (Fakultas Budaya and Media, FBM) ISBI and Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP) Unla also signed the collaboration agreement with FKIP Unpas.
The scope of institutional collaboration includes the implementation of University Tri Dharma; while with Unpas FKIP, it is related to the implementation of Education of Teacher Profession (Pendidikan Profesi Guru, PPG).
Rector of Unpas Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU. kindly welcomed the signing of MoU and is prepared to actualize the program related to University Tri Dharma in order to reach the Key Performance Indicator (Indikator Kinerja Utama, IKU).
“Unpas maintains to develop collaboration with other universities, world of business and industry (Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri (DUDI), intensify the implementation of MBKM to make students to not experience culture shock when having to get to practice,” he explained.
Opportunity for Expanding Collaboration
Later, Unpas Rector would also want to take a broader collaboration with both universities to make a good meet and actualize the downstream-result of collaboration.
“We hope it would be later scheduled with the Magister Program Cyber Security in Unla, since Unpas becomes one of 11 private universities which will later open a Cyber Security Program after the MoU-signing with BSSN. ISBI can also improve their PKS with other department at the Faculty of Art and Literature,” Rector continued.
Rector of ISBI Prof. Dr. Hj. Een Herdiani, S.Sen., M.Hum also hoped that with this collaboration, especially with Unpas FKIP, it could support the graduates of ISBI through PPG of Art.
“In Unpas, there is already PPG of Arts. We hoped that graduates of ISBI could fit in Unpas, as Art teacher since Unpas graduates of Art teacher has great potential. ISBI does not have Department of Art Education; therefore, we give trust for them to Unpas,” she said.
Meanwhile, Rector of Unla, Dr. H. R. AR. Harry Anwar, S.H., M.H. emphasized that the collaboration between Unpas and Unpas FKIP could be followed up by realizing actual program for supporting accreditation program.
“Let us together create works, both with Unpas and Unpas PPG. We need to maintain this collaboration-stage here; there should be a meaningful sustainable program,” he concluded. (Reta)**
