In December 28th, 2021, Unpas has obtained A-ranked (excellent) accreditation from National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi, BAN PT). The accreditation status is important to set the quality standard of education institution. In addition, the excellent-accredited institution is going to improve graduates’ competitiveness and guarantee a global-standard learning process bases on government supervision.
- Top 10 Best Private University in Indonesia
According to the data released by UniRank (worldwide university ranking agency) last April 2021, Unpas was ranked 10th Best Private University in Indonesia. The assessment criteria is based on national accreditation, provision of Bachelor and Magister program, as well as a face-to-face educational system.
Meawhile, Webometrics placed Unpas in 90 of 100 Best University in Indonesia. Its assessment criteria are based on the website performance measured by indicators of visibility, transparency and excellences.
- Collaboration with both domestic and foreign universities
Currently, Unpas has been holding collaboration with more than 50 universities in various countries, such as South Korea, China, Malaysia, Japan, the Philippines, India, Australian, Fiji Republic, Cambodia, Taiwan and England.
Few universities collaborating with Unpas include Kyung Hee University, Shizouka University, Monash University, Guang Dong University and so on. Meanwhile, Unpas also has its collaboration with other universities in Indonesia, both state and private universities, central government, state-owned enterprises, regional-owned enterprises, city/district government, non-government organization and hospital.
Students of Unpas do not only come from Indonesia, but also from neighbor-countries, such as Thailand, Singapore, Somalia, Hungary, Poland, Taiwan, Turkey, South Korea, Malaysia, Canada, Timor Leste, Uzbekistan, Germany, Japan, China, Tajikistan, Estonia, Spain, Lithuania, Australia, Mongolia and Kirgizstan.
- Various Study Programs
Unpas was established on 14 November 1960 by Paguyuban Pasundan (mother organization established since 1913). Up until now, Unpas has 7 faculties and Magister Program consisting of 26 study programs, 11 study programs of Magister and 3 study programs of Doctor. Of all study programs, 19 of them have obtained A-ranked accreditation.
Faculties in Unpas include Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Teaching and Education, Faculty of Art and Literature and Faculty of Medicine.
- Competent Teachers
Unpas has as many as 553 teachers and is in accordance with the required ration. Its lectures also have gotten themselves competence, academic qualifications and professionalism. They are also committed to improving the quality of education.

Pengkuh agamana means to be firm and consequent in doing the religious life. Luhung elmuna means to have a useful knowledge for the society. Jembar budayana means to have broad mind and cultured.
